We keep your
truck loaded.
Seven percent.
Nothing else.

Prime Route Freight dispatches owner operators and small fleets. We find the freight, argue the rate, handle the broker paperwork and keep your wheels turning. You pay seven percent of linehaul. No contract, no setup fee, no charge on a week you do not run.

01The fee

Seven percent of linehaul. That is the entire fee.

Most dispatch services quote you a percentage and then quietly widen what that percentage applies to. Ours applies to one number: the linehaul on the rate confirmation. Detention is yours. Layover is yours. Fuel surcharge is yours. Truck ordered not used is yours. Drag the slider and watch what that difference does to a normal week.

Prime Route Freight

Seven percent, applied to linehaul only. Nothing charged against detention, layover, fuel surcharge or TONU. Nothing charged on a week you sit.

$448this week

The common alternative

Ten percent applied to the full invoice, accessorials included, with a weekly minimum that lands whether the truck moved or not. This is the structure most carriers are already on.

$11,050 Across fifty working weeks

Worked example. Accessorials estimated at 4.5% of linehaul, the alternative modelled at 10% of the full invoice with a $250 weekly minimum. Your real numbers move with your lanes and your load mix. We will run them with you on the phone before you commit to anything.

02The work

A dispatcher is not a load board with a phone number.

Anybody can send you a screenshot of a load. The job is knowing which broker actually pays in fifteen days, which lane is about to soften, and how to get another forty cents a mile out of a rate that was posted low on purpose. That is what the seven percent buys.

01

We find the freight

Your dispatcher works your equipment and your preferred lanes across the major boards and a direct broker list built over years, not a free trial account. You get options, not one take-it-or-leave-it load.

  • Board coverage plus direct broker relationships
  • Lanes matched to where you want to end the week
  • Backhauls lined up before you deliver
02

We argue the rate

Posted rates are an opening position. We know what the lane paid last week and what the broker paid the last carrier, and we negotiate from there. If a load will not come up to a number that works for your truck, we do not book it.

  • Rate benchmarked before the call, not after
  • Detention and layover written into the confirmation
  • You approve every load before it is booked
03

We handle the paper

Carrier packets, broker setups, insurance certificates, rate confirmations, BOLs chased down after delivery. The administrative tail that eats an evening in the sleeper gets handled at our desk instead.

  • Broker setup packets completed for you
  • Rate cons checked line by line before you sign
  • Documents pushed to your factoring company
04

We plan the route

Loads are sequenced so you are not deadheading three hundred miles to start a week, and so you get home when you said you would. Home time is a scheduling constraint we plan around, not a favour.

  • Deadhead kept tight between loads
  • Home time locked into the week upfront
  • Weather, weight and permit issues flagged early
05

We take the check calls

Brokers want updates every few hours. You want to drive. We sit between the two, sending the tracking updates and fielding the calls so your phone stays quiet while you are rolling.

  • Check calls handled at our desk
  • Appointment times set and confirmed
  • Delay problems solved before they become claims
06

We chase the money

An invoice that sits is a truck payment that gets tight. We make sure paperwork goes out complete and correct the first time, and we follow up on the ones that go quiet.

  • Invoices submitted same day where possible
  • Broker credit checked before we book
  • Aged invoices chased until they clear
A day cab tractor parked at a yard, bobtail and ready to be matched to a trailer. Power only, day cab, sleeper. We dispatch it.
03Equipment

Whatever you pull, we dispatch it.

Some dispatch services only really know vans, and it shows the first time you hand them a step deck with a permit problem. We run all eight equipment types, and your dispatcher knows the difference between securing coils and securing lumber.

04Coverage

Georgia desk. Forty eight state reach.

We sit twenty five miles east of Atlanta, which puts us on top of one of the densest freight markets in the country. The southeast is where we know the brokers by name and where we can usually get you reloaded the same day you deliver.

That does not mean we keep you boxed into the southeast. Plenty of our carriers run coast to coast. It means that when you want to come home to Georgia, or anywhere along the I-75, I-20 and I-85 corridors, we can usually get you there loaded instead of empty.

05Straight talk

Why carriers leave their last dispatcher.

We ask every carrier who calls us what went wrong at the last place. After a while the same six answers come back. We built the way we work around them.

Complaint

"The percentage kept growing."

It started at eight percent of linehaul, then it was eight percent of the invoice, then there was a fee on detention. Our seven percent is written against linehaul and it does not move.

Complaint

"I got charged on a week I sat."

Weekly minimums punish you exactly when you can least afford it. If we do not book you a load, we do not invoice you. The incentive stays pointed the right way.

Complaint

"Nobody answered after five."

A detention problem at seven at night is not a tomorrow problem. Our desk runs seven to seven eastern, and carriers already running with us have a number that reaches a person after that.

Complaint

"They booked me cheap freight."

When a dispatcher is paid on volume, cheap loads still pay them. You approve every rate before we book it, and we will tell you plainly when we think a load is not worth your truck.

Complaint

"I was locked into a contract."

Ninety day terms and cancellation notice periods exist to keep carriers who want to leave. There is nothing to sign here. If a month goes badly, you walk, and we would rather earn the next one.

Complaint

"I had a different dispatcher every week."

You cannot build lane knowledge with a rotating desk. You get one dispatcher who learns your truck, your home time and what you will and will not haul.

Dispatch has a reputation problem in this industry, and it was earned. The only useful answer is to put the terms in writing, keep them short, and make it easy to leave.
06Carriers

What our carriers say.

I ran myself off load boards for two years and thought I was saving money doing it. First month with Prime Route my linehaul was up and I got two evenings a week back. The fee paid for itself before the second load.

DM
Darnell M.Dry van · Macon, GA

What sold me was that they told me not to take a load. Broker was offering decent money but had a slow pay history and my dispatcher said skip it. Nobody had ever talked me out of freight before.

RC
Rosa C.Reefer · Lakeland, FL

We put three trucks on with them last spring and added a fourth in the fall. Same dispatcher the whole time, knows all my drivers by name and knows which one will not go to New York.

07Getting started

Loaded inside forty eight hours.

There is no onboarding fee and no trial period you have to buy. We start by running a real load search on your lanes so you can see the kind of freight we would put you on before you decide anything.

01 Day one, 15 minutes

Tell us about your truck

Equipment, authority age, insurance limits, where you are based and where you want to run. We tell you honestly whether we can keep you loaded on those terms.

02 Same day

We run your lanes for free

Before any paperwork, we search live freight against your equipment and show you what is actually moving and at what rate. If the numbers do not impress you, nothing has cost you anything.

03 Day one to two

We build your carrier packet

MC authority, W-9, insurance certificate and a signed dispatch agreement. We handle the broker setups from there so you are not filling in the same form eleven times.

04 Usually within 48 hours

Your first load goes out

Your dispatcher sends options, you approve the rate, we book it and send the confirmation. From there we keep the next load lined up before you deliver the current one.

Let us run your lanes before you commit.

One phone call, no paperwork, no obligation. We will show you the freight we can get on your truck this week and you can decide from there.
